How to: Edit your images and doc using a web browser

My Virtual Drive  is famous for backing up your files and letting you access your data from anywhere but what happens if you don’t have a program on your computer which can open the file? If you are using a friend’s computer or a Chromebook you might not have MS Word or Photoshop available to edit a doc or image. To make sure your images and documents are always available to edit, we have added Zoho and Pixlr to your web portal. Please follow our instructions below to start accessing your files online now:

Zoho

Zoho is a spreadsheet and document editor. The program is very similar to Microsoft’s Word and Excel and is built into My Vritual Drive’s web portal. To open a file on Zoho please follow our easy instructions:

  1. Log into www.myvirtualdrive.com/login
  2. Click on the Briefcase or Backup tab on the main menu and find the file you want to open
  3. Double click on the file
  4. Click the “Edit using Zoho” button on the right hand side of the file.

Pixlr

Pixlr is an advanced photo editor which enables you to view and edit your images at any time. Just like Zoho, the program is built into My Virtual Drive ’s web portal and offers nearly all the features you would expect from Photoshop. To open a file in Pixlr please follow our simple steps:

  1. Log into www.myvirtualdrive.com/login
  2. Click on the Briefcase or Backup tab on the main menu and find the file you want to open
  3. Double click on the file you wish to open
  4. Click the “Edit using Pixlr” button on the right hand side of the file.
